Man Arrested Over £1m Heroin Find
A man has been arrested in connection with the seizure of heroin, with an estimated street value of £1 million.
Police Scotland recovered the heroin, along with a quantity of tablets, a firearm and ammunition, during the search of a property in Inverleith Street in Carntyne.
A 33-year-old man has been charged with drug find. He has been released to appear again at a later date.

Man in court over heroin smuggling charges
A 56-year-old man is expected in court today charged with attempting to smuggle heroin through Manchester Airport at the weekend. Portuguese national, Abdul Gafur, was arrested after Customs officers discovered around five kilos of the Class A drug concealed in luggage. The haul had an estimated street value of £350,000.

Eleven Arrested In Weston-Super-Mare Drug Raids
Eleven people have been arrested in a series of raids carried out across Weston-super-Mare. Around 50 officers were involved in the operation, including neighbourhood officers, specialist search teams, drug dogs and their handlers, Special Constables, and Crime Scene Investigators.

Man Jailed For Smuggling Heroin In Cat Transportation Crates
A man caught smuggling heroin inside pet transportation crates has been jailed for seven-and-a-half years, following an investigation by the National Crime Agency (NCA). 43-year-old Scott Parker, a London-born dual national living in Benoni, Gauteng, South Africa, was arrested at the Heathrow Animal Reception Centre on Friday 21 November 2014.

A man has been jailed for 12 years for possession with intent to supply almost £10 million of heroin. Kyle Johnson, 24, a barber, from Cowbridge Rd West, pleaded guilty yesterday and was sentenced at Wood Green Crown Court to 12 years in prison.
