Manhunt In London After Murder Of A Prostitute
A manhunt is under way in London for a man suspected of murdering Maria Duque-Tujano, a 48-year-old sex worker.
The woman, who is of British nationality and was originally from Colombia, was found dead in a flat in Earls Court on Friday.
The body of Ms Duque Tujano appeared to have been at the property for a number of days, but was only discovered on 31 January. Police have said they are looking for Robert Richard Fraser, also known as Robert Aleem or Shia Robert Jackson in connection with the murder, and say they also suspect him about another attack on a sex worker nearby Paddington, on 18 January. She wasn't badly injured.
Police are advising members of the public not to approach Mr Fraser but said they should call 999 immediately if they see him.
A post-mortem examination of Maria's body found she died after being hit over the head with a blunt object, and police believe she was robbed of cash during the assault.
Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact the incident room on 020 8785 8244 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
