No Further Action To Be Taken Accused Footballer
Rape allegations made against Newcastle United footballer Loic Remy, have been dropped.
Police say that no further action will be taken against the 27-year-old.
Remy was arrested last May along with two other men following allegations that a woman had been attacked in west London.
All three accused were told on Thursday that the case was being dropped and they would face no further action.

Six Jailed Over Mills Murder
A gang who murdered a man and terrorised a south London estate, have been jailed for over 100 years. Marcel Mason, 21, Trevelle Williams, 18, Dwayne Lock, 21, Robert Saint, 20, David Smith, 22, and a 16 year-old boy were today convicted at the Old Bailey of the murder of Ezra Mills back in March 2010.

'Equalizer' Woodward Dead
The well-known British actor Edward Woodward, who was famous for his roles in The Wicker Man and The Equalizer, died today aged 79. He had been suffering from various illnesses, including pneumonia, and died in hospital in Cornwall. His agent Janet Glass released a statement praising Woodward's ''brave spirit and wonderful humour''.

€50,000 Donation To Help Rid Cyprus Of Landmines
Minister for Europe Caroline Flint today announced that the UK would donate €50,000 to the UN Mine Action Centre in Cyprus. Caroline Flint said: "The UN Mine Action Centre has been a highly successful confidence building measure, helping to build trust between the communities.
