Dawlish Rail Line To Reopen Next Month
Network Rail has said the railway line connecting the South West to the rest of the UK will reopen on 4 April.
The Dawlish rail line was damaged in severe storms last month, when consistently large waves battered the structure and left the tracks suspended in mid-air. Just 10 days later, more storms caused further damage to the line and a decision was made to keep the route closed until the April.
The news of the reopening has been welcomed by business leaders in the South West.
