Saturated Fats Not Linked To Heart Disease, Claims Study
A massive international study of 600,000 people's diets has found that saturated fats may not be as unhealthy as first thought.
People were recommended to eat polyunsaturated fats in place of saturated, however a Cambridge University research review now claims that there is no evidence to support current advices.
The conclusion is due to results from 72 unique studies from 18 countries which found "insufficient support for guidelines which advocate the high consumption of polyunsaturated fats to reduce the risk of coronary disease".
The British Heart Foundation is calling for more studies to clear up what is good or bad for people hearts.
Paddy Power Criticised Over Pistorius Advert
A Paddy Power advertising campaign featuring Paralympic athlete Oscar Pistorius broke rules and brought advertising into disrepute, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has found.
The ad placed in Sun on Sunday, which referred to Pistorius' trial for the murder of Reeva Steenkamp and offered a refund on all losing wagers if the athlete was found not guilty, received a record 5.525 complaints, according the regulator.
The advert showed an image similar to an Oscar statuette with Pistorius face and the text: "It's Oscar Time. Money back if he walks. We will refund all losing bets on the Oscar Pistorius trial if he is found not guilty."
The bookmaker denied the "money off if he walks" advert had trivialised domestic violence.
The ASA said that the advertisement was likely to cause widespread offence: "Given the content of the ad, and the prevailing circumstances at the time of its publication, we concluded that it brought advertising into disrepute."
Andy Murray And Coach Agree Mutual Split
The British tennis player Andy Murray and his coach Ivan Lendl have agreed to end their partnership after two years.
The British number one won his maiden Grand Slam at the US Open, Olympic gold and last year's Wimbledon while working with Lendl.
The 26-year-old said: "I'm eternally grateful to Ivan for all his hard work. We've learned a lot as a team and it will be of benefit in the future."
While the Czech-born tennis coach said that for him is the time to "concentrate on some of my own projects, including playing more events around the world".
The 54-year-old coach is one of the world's best players, who won 94 ATP Tour titles in 16-year career.
