Police Investigate 'Ghost Of' James Bulger Twitter Account
Merseyside Police have launched an investigation into "potentially offensive tweets" sent by a Twitter account purporting to be the "ghost" of James Bulger.
Two-year-old James was murdered in 1993 by Jon Venables and Robert Thompson.
Police confirmed they had been made aware of posting appearing on the social network from the so-called "ghost" account referring to the anniversary of the death of James.

An American teenager has been given a life sentence for the murder of two British tourists while in Florida. 25-year-old James Cooper and 24-year-old James Kouzaris, friends from university in Sheffield, were shot and killed in Sarasota, Florida, after drunkenly wandering into the Newtown area in the early hours of 16 April 2011.

The Surrey Police investigation into the deaths of recruits at the Deepcut army barracks has been criticised by another police force. Devon and Cornwall Police’s report into the deaths for four recruits at the barracks concluded that Surrey Police narrowed the focus of the inquiry by concentrating too much on suicide as the most likely outcome.
