Giant Jellyfish Spotted In Cornwall Estuary
A jellyfish measuring one metre in diameter and with two-metres-long tentacles has been spotted by conservationist Matt Slater in Percuil estuary on Cornwall's south coast.
Mr Slater took photos to the giant jellyfish after he came face-to-face with it as he swam with his dog near St Mawes.
The creature, which is not harmful to humans, feeds exclusively on plankton.
"These creatures are incredibly beautiful when you get a close look at them. The tentacles really look like soft coral." Mr Slater said.
Due to the warmer weather the Marine Conservation Society has received more reports of jellyfish on the cost of England and Scotland.
Google Glass Banned In UK Cinemas
UK cinemas have banned the use of the £1,000 Google Glass over fears it could be used to make pirate copies of movies.
Prototypes, which became available in Britain last week, allows people to read emails, take videos and browse the web via a display fixed over the right eye.
Phil Clapp, chief executive of the Cinema Exhibitors' Association, said: "Customers will be requested not to wear these into cinema auditoriums, whether the film is playing or not."
Heathrow 'Sorry' About Baggage Mayhem
Bosses at Heathrow airport have apologised for a computer glitch that caused thousands of luggage delays.
The airline also admitted that it cannot tell passengers who are still waiting for their bags, will they will receive them.
The issues affected thousands of departing British Airways passengers, forcing a number of them to fly without their luggage.
The wife of England and Manchester United footballer Wayne Rooney, Coleen, was among those affected by the glitch. She took to Twitter to complain that after waiting two day to receive her bags, she claimed they had been "ransacked"
In a statement, the airline said: "We have been working round the clock to reunite customers with their bags since the airport's baggage system in Terminal 5 first started experiencing IT faults last Thursday morning."
