Welsh Environment Minister Sacked Over 'Unacceptable' Behaviour

The Environment Minister Alun Davis has been sacked by the Welsh government over "unacceptable" behaviour.

It is understood that Mr Davis asked on two occasions for information on senior opposition Ams that is not in the public domain.

Reports claim that Mr Davis was told by his staff that he could not access the information as it was not publicly available, but he asked them again for the same information.

His actions have been described as "poorly judged" and "inappropriate", by Welsh First Minister Carwyn Jones.
