Man Arrested After Man Falls From Cliff
A man in his 20s has been arrested after the other man he was climbing with fell to his death from a coastal cliff in North Yorkshire.
A 51-year-old man fell at Kettleness Point on Friday, according to North Yorkshire Police.
The man has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
It is believed he was climbing with the man who died when the incident occurred.
Temporary Detective Superintendent Steve Smith said: "This is a tragic incident involving two climbers who appear to have got into difficulty, resulting in the death of one of them.
"A full investigation is under way to establish exactly what happened. The family of the dead man are being supported by specially trained officers at this time."

A man in his late 40s has died after falling 100ft from a balcony at the Tate Modern onto the pavement below. Members of the public enjoying the sun on the banks of the Thames witnessed the “well-dress” man fall from the balcony of the Member’s Room at the gallery. Winesses took to Twitter to express their shock at what they had just seen.

British climbers die in Alps fall
Two British climbers have lost their lives in a fall while attempting to scale a frozen waterfall in the Italian Alps. Peter James Hussey, a 46-year-old father of two from Lincoln, and Sarah Kathleen Ball, 33, from Ambleside, died from injures they received in a 300ft fall on Saturday.

UK Unemployment Falls
New figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show that unemployment in the UK now stands at 5.7%, having fallen by 97,000 in the three months to December. This means the number of adults now in work stands at 73.2%. The figures also show an increase in average earnings with bonuses, up 2.1% compared to a year earlier.

Man Falls From Scaffolding
A man has been taken to hospital after he fell 20ft from scaffolding. The incident is understood to have happened at a building site at Prospect Place, Cardiff, just before 8am on Friday morning. Emergency services were called to the scene, and the man, who has not been named, was taken to the University Hospital of Wales in the city.
