Woman Charged With Murder Of 7-Year-Old Child
A 23-year-old woman has been charged with the murder of a 7-year-old girl in Nottingham.
The child's body was found at a house in Beckhampton Road in Bestwood Park on Thursday. A post-mortem gave a preliminary ruling of a head injury as the cause of death.
The child has not yet been formally identified.
Nottinghamshire Police have said that the accused will appear before Nottingham Magistrates' Court later today.
They also renewed their appeal for anyone with information connected to the case to come forward.
A 47-year-old man arrested in connection with the death has since been released without charge.

Baby Death Mother Named
The British woman charged with causing the death of her newborn baby in a hotel room in Crete has been named. Leah Andrew, from London, has been charged with infantide after being arrested in Malia on Tuesday. Ms Andrew was rushed to hospital by local residents after giving birth alone in her room.

23 Charged With Drug Offences Following Raids
More than 20 people have been charged with drug offences following a number of raids carried out in London, Gravesend, Dover and Deal. A total of 23 people were arrested during twenty raids carried out over three days. The suspects, ranging in age from 17 to 52, have all been charged in connection with the supply of class A drugs.

Two Charged With Child's Death
A man and a woman have been charged following the death of 15-month-old Violet Mullen in Oldham. Gary Alcock, 28, and Claire Flanagan, 21, both of Huddersfield Road, Oldham, have both been charged with murder and causing or allowing the death of a child under the Domestic Violence Act 2005.

Two Charged Over Child's Death
A man and woman are due to appear in court today charged with the death of a four-year-old child. The 36-year-old man and 22-year-old woman from the Tyseley area of Birmingham, are due to appear at the city's magistrates' court charged with killing a four-year-old child through gross neglect, in April.
