Police To Investigate George Galloway Israeli Boycott Speech
Police are to investigate a speech made by George Galloway, in which he called for Bradford to be "declared an Israel-free zone".
Police say that have received two complaints about the speech, in which the Bradford West MP called for the city to reject all Israeli goods, services, academics and tourists.
In a speech made during Respect party meeting, and subsequently posted to YouTube, Mr Galloway said: "We reject this illegal, barbarous, savage state that calls itself Israel - and you have to do the same."
A spokesperson for Mr Galloway has said that he "stands by" the remarks.

Man Denies Assaulting George Galloway
A man has pleaded not guilty to assaulting MP George Galloway. Mr Galloway was posing for photographs with supporters in London on Friday evening when he was attacked. The incident happened on the Golborne Road in Notting Hill. The MP is said to have suffered broken ribs, and bruising and cuts to his face in the attack.
