Energy Firms Begin Refund Campaign
The 'big six' energy firms have launched a campaign to pay money back to customers, amid pressure from the regulator.
It is estimated that some three million energy customers could be entitled to reclaim up to £50 – which is said to be the typical amount left behind when customers switched suppliers.
It is understood that the companies have begun the refund process after Ofgem warned that unless they made progress in paying the money back, they would face enforcement action.
Further information on the reclaim process can be found at myenergycredit.com.
