Police Seek More Time To Question Leygreen Farm Murder Suspect
Police have requested more time to hold a 36-year-old-man arrested in connection with the murder of Penelope Davis.
Mrs Davis (47) was found dead in a field at Leygreen Farm, Beaulieu, on 02 September.
She died from multiple stab wounds.
Police arrested a man on Tuesday on suspicion of murder and have now applied to the magistrates for more time to hold him while they continue their investigation.
A 24-year-old woman, named as Leanne Doyle of Beech Crescent in Hythe, jad been charged with assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice, and bailed to appear again on 01 October.

Two Women Found Dead In Sheffield
The bodies of a mother and daughter have been found at a house in Hemsworth, in Sheffield. The discovery was made by police at an address on Ironside Road at 0740 BST. A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being questioned by police. The area around the property has been sealed off.
