UKIP Lay Out Tax Pledges At Party Conference
UKIP have pledged to cut income tax from 40p to 35p for people earning up to £55,000, while also raising the amount people can earn before they pay the tax to £13,500.
The Party is set to lay out its tax plans at its annual conference, which begins this morning at Doncaster Racecourse.
Party leader Nigel Farage is expected to announce his party's tax plans would be funded by leaving the EU and cutting UK foreign aid by 85%.
Mr Farage has said he expects UKIP to have "real influence" following the next general election.

The Liberal Democrats have vowed to scrap the "unfair" council tax, on the 15th anniversary of the poll tax riots. The party said that the council tax should be replaced with a local income tax, based on the ability to pay.
