BTP Release CCTV Images Of Man Wanted In Racist Attack Investigation
The British Transport Police (BTP) have released CCTV images of a man wanted in connection with an racist attack on a Glasgow-Edinburgh train.
They say that on 28 August a man attacked a female passenger on the 22:30 Glasgow Queen Street train travelling to Edinburgh. It is understood the man verbally abused the woman about her race and religion before getting off the train at Linlithgow Railway Station at about 23:00.
The man is described as approximately 6ft tall, of medium build with short dark greying hair.
In the CCTV images he is shown wearing a dark suit with a white shirt and blue tie.
Det Con Paul Farquhar, of the British Transport Police, said: "I am appealing to anyone who recognises the man in the photograph to contact me as a matter of urgency."

Man Stabbed In 'Racist Attack'
A 24-year-old man has been stabbed in Liverpool in what police have described as a racially motivated attack. The victim, a shopkeeper from the Toxteth area, was attacked by up to six men in Park Road, Toxteth, at around 8.30pm on Tuesday night. A Merseyside Police spokesman said the man is currently in hospital following the attack.

Police have appealed for witnesses to an unprovoked racist attack on the Isle of Dogs on Saturday, 08 August. An 18-year-old man needed surgery for injuries sustained when he was hit in the face with a bottle, leaving him with permanent nerve damage.

Police Release Images Following Homophobic Attack
CCTV images have been released by police after a man was assaulted in a homophobic attack at Piccadilly Gardens. The attack happened at around 1am on Saturday 1st November 2014 when the 25-year-old victim was on a tram travelling to Manchester and an argument started between him and another man.
