UKIP Win Rochester And Strood By-Election
Mark Reckless has won the Rochester and Strood by-election, giving the UK Independence Party its second elected MP.
The former Conservative won 16,867 votes for his new party, beating his former party by 2,920. Kelly Tolhurst took 13,947 for the Conservatives, while Naushabah Khan took 6,713 for Labour.
Mr Reckless joins another former Conservative who also defected to UKIP, MP Douglas Carswell.

A woman has suffered serious injuries after being hit by a minibus carrying Conservative party aides during David Cameron's four-day tour of India. The minibus was travelling along a road in Mumbai when it hit the local woman just after noon on Tuesday, local time.

'Common Sense' Shake-Up Needed, Says Young
After the published review into the current regulations, the Government are planning a more "common sense" approach to health and safety rules.
