Lee Rigby Killer Loses Appeal Bid
One of the two Islamic extremists who murdered soldier Lee Rigby has lost his appeal challenge against his conviction.
Michael Adebolajo, 28, was sentenced to life in prison after he was convicted of killing Mr Rigby outside Woolwick Barracks in May last year.
Co-accused Michael Adebowale was also convicted for killing the soldier and was sentenced to serve a minimum of 45 years. He is also arguing for his sentence to be reduced.
Judges rejected a bid for Adebolajo to challenge his conviction and whole-life term.

Drummer Lee Rigby To Be Given Military Funeral On July 12
Drummer Lee Rigby will receive a military funeral at Bury Parish Church in Greater Manchester on July 12. The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers soldier was murdered as he made his way back to his barracks in Woolwich in south-east London in May. An MoD spokesman has said the Drummer Rigby's service will be private but shall be broadcast over a PA system.
