Shrien Dewani Cleared Of Honeymoon Murder
Businessman Shrien Dewani has been cleared of taking part in the murder of his wife in South Africa.
Judge Jeanette Traverso said the prosecution failed to put forward enough evidence to prove he had planned the murder.
Anni Dewani, 28, was shot dead in Cape Town in November 2010.
Mr Dewani, 34, always denied he had any part in the murder.
It was alleged that Mr Dewani plotted the murder with cab driver Zola Tongo, Mziwamadoda Qwabe and gunman Xolile Mngeni.
Tongo, Qwabe and Mngeni have already been convicted.

Honeymoon Husband 'Plotted Murder'
A court has been told of allegations that the husband of a woman murdered on her honeymoon in South Africa had plotted his own wife's death. Last month, Shrien and Anni Dewani, both 28, from Bristol, were in a taxi when it was hijacked. Mrs Dewani was shot in the neck, however Mr Dewani was able to escape.

Man Arrested On Behalf Of South African Authorities
Officers from the Metropolitan Police Service's Extradition Unit yesterday, arrested Shrien Prakash Dewani, 30, on behalf of the South African authorities. Mr Dewani surrendered himself at a Bristol police station and was arrested at 10.

Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in Faversham at the weekend. Kent Police confirmed Lincoln Payne, of no fixed abode, had been charged with robbery, theft and two counts of attempted murder following an incident in Fostall Avenue on Saturday, 30 May.

Surrey Murder Suspect Arrested
Police have arrested 38-year-old Viktoras Bruzas on suspicion of murdering a couple in Surrey. The bodies of Patrick and Gillian Kettyle were found at their home in Fetcham in the early hours of Thursday morning. Police had issued an appeal for help in tracing Mr Bruzas in connection with the murders, and had urged the public not to approach him.

The discovery of human remains at a house in Nottinghamshire has become a double murder investigation, police have said. Police were speaking on Monday about the discovery on October 10 of the remains of two bodies in the garden of a house in Blenheim Close, Forest Town, Nottinghamshire. Police say they were led to the property by a tip.
