Police in Scotland have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a woman's body in a caravan on Monday.
The body of Carol-Anne Taggart (54) was found at the Pettycur caravan site in Kinghorn. Ms Taggart had been missing since 22 December.
Det Ch Insp Keith Hardie, of Police Scotland, said: "Throughout this inquiry we had always hoped to trace Carol-Anne and return her home safe and well.
"However, following the discovery of her body we believe her death to be suspicious and a man is currently in police custody.
"I would like to thank the public for their assistance and support during our investigation and would urge anyone who believes they may still have information, but has yet to contact police, to do so immediately."
A 30-year-old man is due to appear in court in connection with the death of Ms Taggart.
