Two Charged Over Attack On Mourning Family
Police investigating an attack on a family who were mourning the loss of a stillborn baby at a park in Colchester have charged a 27-year-old woman and 14-year-old boy.
The family was at High Woods Country Park in July last year planning to release balloons in memory of their stillborn baby girl when they were attacked.
Police have charged Janine Jackson, of Hickory Avenue, Colchester, with two counts of assault by beating.
And an unidentified teenage boy has been charged with three counts of assault "occasioning ABH".
Police have also said that two other suspects in the case are currently in jail on other matters.

23 Charged With Drug Offences Following Raids
More than 20 people have been charged with drug offences following a number of raids carried out in London, Gravesend, Dover and Deal. A total of 23 people were arrested during twenty raids carried out over three days. The suspects, ranging in age from 17 to 52, have all been charged in connection with the supply of class A drugs.

Mobile provide EE is to refund around £1m to a number of customers wrongly charged VAT between October 2012 and October 2014. It is understood that EE customers who travelled outside the EU during those dates and used internet data were affected by the charges. The company estimated it as being about 0.5% of its customers.

Essex Police have appealed for witnesses to an attack on a family in High Woods Country Park in Colchester on 23 July to come forward. The family were holding a private memorial for a stillborn baby in the park when they were attacked by "a gang".

Serving Police Officer Charged With Seven Counts Of Rape
A serving police office has been charged with seven counts of rape and one count of assault. PC Michael Graham, 47, an officer in Hounslow, was arrested at his home on 06 October and charged the following day. He has been suspended from duty while officers from Sexual Offences Exploitation & Child Abuse are investigating.
