Church Of England Consecrate First Female Bishop
The Church of England's first female bishop, the Reverend Libby Lane, has been officially ordained at a ceremony at York Minster.
The 48-year-old is the first ever female Bishop of Stockport, following a change in church legislation last November.
Mrs Lane has been vicar of St Peter's Hale and St Elizabeth's Ashley, in Greater Manchester, since April 2007.
Her appointment as Bishop was announced last month.

Church Of England Names First Female Bishop
The Reverend Libby Lane has been named as the first female Bishop of the Church of England. Reverend Lane, has been the vicar at St Peter's Hale and St Elizabeth's Ashley in Cheshire since April 2007, will be the new Bishop of Stockport, filling a post that has been empty since May.

The Church of England's most senior female bishop is to be consecrated at Canterbury Cathedral. The Reverend Rachel Treweek, 52, is to become the new Bishop of Gloucester. Archdeacon Treweek is succeeding The Right Reverend Michael Perham, who retired in 2014. She will be the first woman to run a diocese and will be one rank below archbishop.

The Venerable Rachel Treweek has been appointed to the Church of England's most senior bishop position. The current Archdeacon of Hackney is the new Bishop of Gloucester, replacing the Right Rev Michael Perham, who retired in November. Archdeacon Treweek described her new appointment as "an immense joy and privilege".

Bishop of Durham Justin Welby has officially been named as the next Archbishop of Canterbury. Welby, 56, will take on the Church of England's most senior post at a ceremony at Canterbury Cathedral on 21 March 2013. He only became a bishop a year ago when he took up the fourth most senior post in the Church of England.
