Birmingham City FC Owners Enter Receivership
The company that owns Birmingham City Football Club has entered receivership.
Birmingham International Holdings Limited (BIHL) said that "fractious and inharmonious relations within the management" lead to the decision to place the company in receivership.
It is understood that the football club is "not in liquidation and could continue to fulfil its fixtures in the league."
Reward Issued After Men Caught Trying To Kill Protected Birds
RSPB Scotland has issued a £1,000 reward for information leading to a conviction of men suspected of trying to kill protected goshawks in Aberdeenshire.
The group set up cameras on Forestry Commission Scotland land to monitor a nest at Glenochty, Strathdon.
Footage shows a group of men repeatedly visiting the area and appears to show them trying to kill the birds and destroy the nests.
Ian Thomson, head of investigations at RSPB Scotland, said: "We are appealing to anybody with information about this incident to contact the police or Crimestoppers as a matter of urgency."
Stone Age Skeleton To Return To Welsh Find Site
A Stone Age skeleton found in 19th century Wales, is to be returned after being displayed in Lancashire for 120 years.
The skeleton of a woman who lived around 5,500 years ago was found in rocks on the Little Orme, Llandudno, during quarrying work in 1891 and was taken to England by quarry owner Joseph Storey.
She will now be placed on permanent display in Llandudno Museum.

Woman's Body Found On Street In Edinburgh
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman's body on Calton Hill in Edinburgh. It is understood that the body was found on a footpath at about 04:30 on Thursday morning. The area has been sealed to allow for a forensic examination to be carried out.

15-Year-Old Arrested Over Secondary School Stabbing
Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy in connection with the stabbing of two girls outside a secondary school in Glasgow. Police Scotland said the two girls, aged 13 and 15, were attacked outside a school in the Barmulloch area on 19 March.

Rape Investigation Against MP Mark Pritchard Dropped
An investigation into rape allegations against Conservative MP Mark Pritchard have been dropped, Scotland Yard has confirmed. Mr Pritchard, MP for The Wrekin in Shropshire, was arrested on 2 December, however he was released on police bail. He has now been informed no further action will be taken.

New Scotland Yard Sold
The headquarters of the Metropolitan Police has been sold, London's deputy mayor for police and crime has confirmed. The proceeds from the sale of New Scotland Yard (NSY) are to be reinvested in frontline policing, Stephen Greenhalgh has said. NSY has been the headquarters of the Met since 1967 but has been sold as part of cost-cutting measures.
