Supermarket Flooded By Burst Water Main
A Sainsbury's supermarket is Plymouth has been closed after being flooded by thousands of gallons of water.
It is understood that the water is from a burst water main at Marsh Mills in Plymouth.
The Environment Agency has established the water is free from sewage, following initial fears the water may contain human waste.
South East Water said that engineers are working to fix the burst water pipe.

Burst Water Main Causes Chaos
A burst water main has caused considerable flooding in Glasgow. A statement from Scottish Water said: "An issue with a faulty valve which regulates pressure has resulted in burst water mains in Mount Stuart Street, Shawlands; Cowcaddens and Duke St at the junction of East Wellington Street and Shettleston Road.

Water firm to introduce meters
A water company in the south east of England has been given permission to install compulsory water meters in homes. Folkestone and Dover Water Services was granted "water scarcity status", which will allow it to force all 65,000 homes in its service area to install meters.

Over 8,000 Homes Without Water After Mains Burst In Bristol
Up to 8,000 homes have been left without water after a mains water pipe burst near Bristol. It is understood that a 30 inch water main ruptured in Kingswood on Thursday afternoon, leaving thousands of residents without water and forcing the closure of 18 schools in the area. Bristol Water are supplying water to residents via tankers.

Water companies lift hosepipe bans
Several water companies have eased restrictions on water usage by lifting hosepipe bans today. Thames Water, Southern Water, Three Valleys Water and Sutton and East Surrey Water have announced the end of restrictions this morning. However, customers of South East Water and Mid Kent Water remain subject to hosepipe bans.
