Police Seek Woman In Connection With Six-Day-Old Baby's Death
Police are appealing for help in tracing a woman they want to speak to in connection with the death of a six-week-old baby.
The Metropolitan Police have released a CCTV image of a woman at Tooting Broadway station in south London at 20:40 on Thursday 27 November. They believe the woman came into contact with the baby prior to its death in November, last year.
Police said the full footage shows the woman "checking on the baby".
It is understood a few days after the footage was captured police were called to an address on Russell Road, where the baby boy had become unresponsive. The baby was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
A post-mortem examination is understood to have proved inconclusive.
Police are appealing for anyone with any information on the woman to contact them.

Baby Death Mother Named
The British woman charged with causing the death of her newborn baby in a hotel room in Crete has been named. Leah Andrew, from London, has been charged with infantide after being arrested in Malia on Tuesday. Ms Andrew was rushed to hospital by local residents after giving birth alone in her room.

Pregnant Woman Attacked In Essex
A pregnant woman has been attacked with a baseball bat and a knife at her home in Basildon, Essex. The 22-year-old woman, who was in labour, was getting ready to leave her home with her partner to go to the hospital when a gang raided her home. She was hit with a baseball bat and slashed with a knife.

Missing Baby Found 'Safe And Well'
A nine-month-old baby girl who was reported missing from her home in Glouchestershire on Monday has been found safe and well. Maylayah Delaney had been reported missing by her mother shortly before lunch-time on Monday. Police have confirmed that a man from the West Midlands is helping them with their inquiries.

Police in West Yorkshire have arrested two women on suspicion of neglect following the death of a baby boy. Police were called to Spring Hall Gardens in Halifax at around 1am on Friday where they arrested a 21-year-old woman and a 47-year-old woman. Police say that the baby died a short time after being admitted to hospital.
