Three Arrested In Claudia Lawrence Investigation
Three men have been arrested in connection with the investigation into the disappearance of chef Claudia Lawrence.
Ms Lawrence went missing after leaving her to travel to work on 19 March, 2009.
Police believe that Ms Lawrence was murdered, but a body has never been found.
North Yorkshire Police have reported that three men, aged in their 50s, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
It follows the arrest of another man, also aged in his 50s, last month.
Police have urged people not to publicly identify the suspects, to "ensure the investigation and legal process are not compromised or potentially damaged in any way."
"This includes naming or publishing images of the men, their home addresses, places of work, their vehicles and properties being searched on traditional media platforms or social networking sites," Detective Superintendent Dai Malyn said.
"I urge everyone to again show restraint and patience while we carry out these very important enquiries. Your co-operation and support is greatly appreciated by the investigation team."
Police renewed their appeal for anyone with information to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 or the independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
