Appeal For Witnesses To 'Suspicious Incident' In Sunderland
Northumbria Police have appealed for witnesses to a "suspicious incident" between two vehicles in Sunderland on Saturday 02 May.
It is understood that a dark blue people carrier was driving on Ryhope Road, near to Backhouse Park, at about 20:20 when it was forced to stop by a Range Rover.
Police said that it is believed an altercation then took place between the occupants of the two vehicles, before they both drive away, the Range Rover at speed.
However, police have not received any reports of any type of incident from the occupants of the people carrier. They have had other people come forward who were in the area at the time and believed they witnessed a suspicious incident, however, at this time it is not clear what has taken place.
Police are appealing for the occupants of the people carrier to contact police and speak to officers about this incident. Officers would also like to speak to anyone else who was also in the are at the time and may be able to shed some light on what has happened.
Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

MoJ Reveal Drone Used In Prison Smuggle Attempt
The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has revealed that a drone was used to try and smuggle a package into the grounds of HMP Bedford. An MoJ spokesperson said that the aircraft was "quickly intercepted by vigilant staff" on 06 March.

Police Appeal To Witnesses Of Cycling Incident
Police in Cheltenham have appealed to witnesses of an incident involving a cyclist on Tuesday. It is understood that a 52-year-old female cyclist was found with head injuries on Old Bath Road. She was treated in hospital and discharged the same day.

Sussex Police Appeal For Two Missing People
Sussex Police have issued appeals for two missing people. Police are concerned for the welfare of 15-year-old Abigail Beach, who has been missing from her home since Friday. The teenager was last seen at 1am on Friday (17 July) but officers have been unable to get in touch with her to confirm that she is ok.

Newcastle Police Appeal For Help Tracing Two Missing People
Police in Newcastle have appealed for the public's help in tracing two missing people. 63-year-old MaryAnn Cook has been missing since Tuesday 09 June, when she was last seen leaving her home in Oakfield Gardens. It is known that Ms Cook travelled by taxi to Central Station, but she failed to return home and has not been seen since.
