Teenager In Critical Condition Following Speedboat Accident
A teenager is in a critical condition is hospital following a serious boating accident in the Solent.
A speedboat crashed and overturned just after 08:20 near Warsash Maritime Academy, off Hamble, Hampshire.
Three men and the teenage boy where injured in the crash.
The boat is believed to have crashed into a cardinal marker buoy before it capsized.

Three Killed In Lincolnshire Road Crash
Lincolnshire Police have reported the deaths of three men in a road crash. Police said the men were killed when a Renault Clio crashed head on with a Vauxhall Astra at about 19:00 on Thursday on the Hogsthorpe Road in Chapel St Leonards.

Children Treated In Hospital Following Boating Accident
Two children are continuing to receive hospital treatment after being rescued from the River Avon following a boating accident in which their father and brother died. The family's rowing boat capsized in strong waters at a weir in Barford on Saturday afternoon. A local resident was able to pull the boy and girl from the water.

Dozens killed as Japanese train derailed
At least 50 people have been reported killed and over 300 more injured when a commuter train derailed and crashed into an apartment block in Japan. The accident, the worst train disaster to occur in Japan in over 40 years, happened around 09:20am local time in Amagasaki, near the city of Osaka.

Water Restrictions Expected To Spread
The environment agency has said hosepipe bans and water restrictions could reach as far north as Yorkshire if the prolonged dry weather continues. South-east of England and East Anglia are already in the grip of the UK’s worst drought in 30 years.

Coastguard calls off search for missing woman
Coastguard have called off an air and sea search for a missing 20-year-old woman who disappeared following a boating accident. The search was launched after an empty rigid inflatable boat (RIB) came ashore close to Bembridge Point on the Isle of Wight.
