Two Police Officers Injured Following Incident
Two police officers have been injured following an incident in Kingsbridge, Devon.
Police were called to an address in Retreat Close on 13 May following threats made by a man to another resident.
Officers attended the scene at approximately 4.30pm and entered the property.
Both officers sustained injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
A police cordon was set up and the area evacuated while negotiations with a male inside the address took place.
A 53 year old man is currently in police custody following the incident.

Brothers in court over boat captain's death
Two brothers are due to appear in court charged with the murder of a pleasure boat captain. Christopher Liddard, 26, of Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire and his 21-year-old brother Andrew, from Harlow in Essex, have been charged with murder and affray in connection with the death of Michael Reed.

Five retired police officers have been arrested as part of an investigation into the murder of a Cardiff prostitute 17 years ago, South Wales police have confirmed. Twenty-year-old Lynette White was found murdered in a flat in the Butetown area of Cardiff on Valentine’s Day, 1988.
