Four Charged Over Everton Tower Block Cannabis Farm
Four men have been charged following the discovery of a cannabis farm in a tower block in Everton.
Police on patrol on Wednesday 10 June noticed a strong a smell of cannabis in the area. Investigating the smell, the officers uncovered a large scale cannabis grow house in a number of flats.
Nam Van Le, 49, of Jason Street, Everton, has been charged with production of a controlled drug, alongside Nam Van Ntuyen, 36, of no fixed abode, Thanh Duc Dong, 49 of no fixed abode and Doan Xuan Quynh, 39, also of no fixed abode.
All four have been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court.

Bride's father charged with her murder
The father of a 23-year-old woman who was found dead at her Nottinghamshire home last month has been charged with her murder. Terence Rodgers, 55, of no fixed abode, appeared at Mansfield Magistrates Court today charged with murdering Chanel Taylor. He was remanded into custody to reappear at Nottingham Crown Court via videolink on August 25.

Police in Cardiff searching for a missing person have uncovered a cannabis farm in a disused ward of a psychiatric hospital. It is understood that around 30 cannabis plants were uncovered by officers during a search at Whitchurch Hospital in Cardiff. News of the cannabis farm was revealed in a report by the BBC.
