Chard Bodies Identified As Married Couple
Police have made a formal identification of the man and woman found dead in Chard on Sunday.
The bodies of 42-year-old Tracey Baker and 35-year-old Kevin Baker were found at their home in Wellings Close on Sunday morning. They were a married couple.
Post-mortem examinations, carried out by a Home Office pathologist, concluded that Tracey Baker died from multiple head injuries, and Kevin Baker died from self-strangulation by ligature.
Senior Investigation Officer Andy Mott: "Our thoughts are very much with the families affected by this tragic incident and they're continuing to be supported by specially trained family liaison officers.
"Although we're not looking for anyone else in connection with these deaths, our enquiries will continue to develop a full understanding of what happened and a file will be supplied to the Coroner's office."

There is "no evidence" that Princess Diana was murdered by MI6 at the behest of Prince Philip. Speaking at the inquest into her death, the Coroner, Lord Justice Scott Baker said that many of Mohammed Al Fayed’s conspiracy theories about the crash were "demonstrably without foundation".

British Teen Found Dead In France
A British teen has been found dead after he went missing on a ski trip to France. Kieron Fliux, 18, from the Isle of Wight, disappeared in Val d'lsere following a night out. He was on holiday with his family when he disappeared. His body was discovered on Wednesday by a police helicopter.

Woman And Children Found Dead In Stoke-on Trent
An investigation is underway following the discovery of the bodies of a woman and two children at a house in Stoke-on-Trent. Police say they made the discovery after being called to an address in Sherwin Road at about 18:35 on Sunday. A woman and two children were pronounced dead at the scene. No details of the victims have yet been released.
