British Gas Announces 5% Bill Cut
British Gas has announced another cut in its gas bills, its second in the last sin months.
The additional 5% cut will see yearly bills reduced by about £35, or by a total of around £72 with the two cuts combined.
The new reduction will come into effect on 27 August.
However, some have criticised the company, claiming that the cuts are "too small".

Doom and gloom surround anticipated cut backs to be announced in tomorrow's 'emergency Budget'. Today, it was confirmed that the Chancellor, George Osborne and senior cabinet members have 'signed off' the Budget and has already warned Britain will be "on the road to ruin" unless borrowing is reduced, but denied his plans are driven by ideology.

British Gas To Cut 6,000 Jobs
British Gas owner Centrica has announced it is to cut 6,000 jobs by 2020. The announcement comes as the group reports a doubling of profits at the British Gas business in the first six months of 2015. In its annual Interim Results report, the company said half the jobs lost would be through redundancies.

British Gas Cut Prices By 5%
British Gas has announced it will cut its prices by 5% from 27 February, reducing the average household bill by around £37. It follows an announcement of a 3.5% cut by E.On last week.
