Leeds Coroner's Office Appeal For Man's Relatives
The coroner's officers in Leeds have appealing for help in tracing any relatives of Peter Walker from Bramley who died recently.
Mr Walker, who possibly went by the name Nicholas, was found deceased at his home in Aston Crescent, Bramley, on Friday, 10 July.
No further information is held about Mr Walker's background or any family members.
Any relatives or anyone with information about any relations of Mr Walker are asked to call Coroner's Officer Debbie Howarth in Leeds Coroner's Office on 0113 3970606.
Search Called Off For Missing Welsh Fisherman
The search for a fisherman and his vessel missing off the north coast of Wales has been officially called off.
A search was launched on Wednesday after the alarm was raised at at 11:30.
A raft belonging to the fisherman was found off Llanddulas, near Colwyn Bay, later that same day and the search continued for several hours on Thursday morning.
The coastguard said it had completed its searches, and the man's family had been informed the search had finished.
Man Cut Off By Tide Rescued By Lifeboat
A man forced into the sea by the rising tide was rescued by an RNLI team out on an exercise.
According to reports the man had been walking from Knoll Beach to Old Harry Rocks in Dorset when the incoming tide cut him off.
It is understood that the man had been in the sea for some 45 minutes when he was spotted by on the Poole Inshore lifeboat.
The RNLI said as the tide was just about to turn "for certain the young man would have been taken out to sea".

Redcar RNLI have recovered two cars from the sea off Teeside after drivers were caught out by the incoming tide. The lifeboat was called out after multiple 999 calls about a car stuck in the sea with two people on its roof on Wednesday afternoon.

Air-and-sea search called off for missing father
A massive air-and-sea search for a man whose two-year-old son was found in the English Channel has been called off. However, a Sussex Police specialist search team and the West Sussex Fire and Rescue Technical Rescue Team will continue to search the coast for 50-year-old Alan Watkins for a further 24 hours.

Cargo Ship Could Be Stuck 'For Some Time'
A large cargo ship has run aground near Ardnamurchan Point and could be stuck there "for some time". It is understood that Lysblink Seaways got into difficulty at about 2am on Wednesday at Kilchoan and ran aground a short time later. It was believed that the ship would refloat at the next high tide, but it failed to do so.
