Body Found In Hunt For Missing Boy
A body has been found following the search for a missing 7-year-old boy in South Yorkshire.
Officers searching for Conley Thompson made the discovery on a construction site on Bank End Road in the Worsbrough area of Barnsley.
The body was found at approximately 8:30am.
While formal identification is yet to take place, South Yorkshire Police have said it is believed to be that of Conley.
Detective Inspector Victoria Short said: "We deployed our full resources with officers searching throughout the night to find Conley and we are deeply saddened by this tragic development.
"While it is early in the investigation, the death is being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem will take place in due course."
Conley, of Underwood Avenue, Worsbrough, was last scene in Locke Park, at approximately 8pm on 26 July.
Police were alerted after he failed to return home from the park where he had been playing with his friends.

Body Found In Search For Missing Woman
A body has been discovered in Sutton Mill by police investigating the disappearance of Jennifer Hayman. The body was found at 18:00 on Thursday. Formal identification has not yet been made, but police said that Ms Hayman's family have been informed of the find. A post-mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

Second Body Found In Mill Explosion Search
Cheshire Constabulary has confirmed that a second body has been found in during a search of Wood Flour Mills in Bosley, Cheshire. On Friday 17 July, an explosion and fire destroyed the four-storey wood processing plant. Four workers were unaccounted for following the incident. On Sunday, police confirmed a body had been found.
