Tube Strike Due To Begin At 18:30
London Underground workers are due to begin 24-hour strike at 18:30 today (Wednesday).
Transport for London (TfL) has said that all Tube services will end at 18:30 on Wednesday, with no services throughout Thursday. Normal service is not expected to resume until Friday.
Passengers are advised to complete any Tube journey by 18:30, with TfL warning that services are expected to be "exceptionally busy" from 16:30.
DLR, London Overground, tram and TfL Rail services will be running as normal, however, all of these services are also expected to be much busier than usual.
An additional 250 buses are to be added to help people travel, with TfL travel ambassadors and volunteers available at bus stations and hubs to provide customers with travel information and advice on the ground.
