Human Remains Found Near Motorway In Shropshire
Human remains have been found near a motorway slip road in Shropshire, West Mercia Police have said.
It is understood a human skull and skeletal remains were found alongside the M54 slip road by workers doing a survey of the junction four roundabout, near Telford, around lunchtime on Thursday.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil Jamieson said: "We are in the very early stages of this investigation and inquiries are ongoing.
"This will be a lengthy process but we will continue to update the public in due course."

Human Remains Found During Search For Missing Woman
Police Scotland have confirmed that human remains have been found during the search for missing 19-year-old Hazel North. A search had been ongoing for Ms North, who was from Dunfermline and has been missing since 04 March. Police have not yet been confirmed if the remains found in Dean Park are those of Ms North.

Human Remains Found At Glasgow Farm
Police searching for missing student Karen Buckley have uncovered human remains at a farm to the north of Glasgow. Formal identification has not yet been made, but police have said they believe the remains are those of the 24-year-old Irish woman, who went missing in the city in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Two men exploring an old Roman copper mine have uncovered what are believed to be human remains. Dyfed-Powys Police say that the discovery was made at Llanymynech caves near Welshpool in Powys. A forensic examination is to be carried out on the bones to establish how old they might be.

Human Remains Found On Beach
Human remains have been found washed up on a beach in Southampton. The discovery was made around 8.25am on Sunday by a dog walker. Part of the foreshore at Weston, Southampton was sealed off as a result. In a statement, Hampshire Constabulary said it is not yet known if the remains are male or female.
