Body found at RAF base is identified
The body, which was discovered at RAF Marham, King's Lynn in Norfolk, on Saturday, has been identified.
The man who died was 22-year-old Corporal Mark Sellars. Mr Sellars was an RAF Policeman and was single.
Norfolk Constabulary are undertaking an inquiring into Corporal Sellars' death, but have stated that there are no suspicious circumstances. A post-mortem has been carried out and a file has been sent to the coroner's office.
Group Captain Bob McAlpine, station commander at RAF Marham, said: "Mark's friends and colleagues at RAF Marham have been deeply saddened by his death. Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time."

Two RAF airmen die in training crash
Two RAF crew have died after their aircraft crashed during a routine training flight last night. The two aircrew died when their T4 Canberra crashed on the runway while landing at RAF Marham, Norfolk, at about 10.30pm last night. A third crewmember was seriously injured and was airlifted to hospital.

Three RAF servicemen killed in Iraq
Three RAF servicemen have been killed during an attack on their base in Iraq, the Ministry of Defence has confirmed. Two men from 1 Squadron RAF Regiment and one man from 504 Squadron Royal Auxiliary were killed in an indirect fire attack on the Contingency Operating Base in Basra, Iraq.

RAF jet crashes at Welsh airfield
An RAF jet has crashed at an airfield in Anglesey in north Wales, police have confirmed. The Hawk plane crashed at the Mona airfield around 12:25pm on Friday. Initial reports suggested that the pilot ejected safely and it has now been confirmed that the pilot has been airlifted to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor by RAF helicopter.

RAF Lyneham set to close by 2012
RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire is to close by 2012 with the loss of almost 600 jobs at the transport and logistics support airfield. Under the rationalisation plan confirmed today by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) the squadrons based at RAF Lyneham will be transferred to RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.
