Pupils Taken To Hospital After School Bus Crash
A double-decker school bus carrying up to twenty pupils has been involved in a collision in North Lanarkshire.
It is understood the bus collided with a car on Petersburn Road, Airdrie, at about 08:40 on Friday.
Police said the pupils where taken by ambulances to Monklands and Wishaw Hospitals "as a precaution", but there are no reports of any injuries.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.

Following an investigation lasting more than two years, the OFT found that pupils’ parents ended up paying higher fees as a result of the information-sharing.

London Bus Drivers Postpone Strike Action
Planned strike action by London bus drivers has been postponed as an "act of goodwill". The strike action was due to take place on Friday and Monday, with drivers walking out across the city's 18 bus companies. Unite the union has called on the bus companies to accept an invitation for talks.
