Flypast Marks 75th Anniversary Of Battle Of Britain
Up to 40 Spitfire and Hurricane aeroplanes have participated in a flypast to mark the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
It is understood that it was the largest grouping of the planes since World War Two.
The Battle of Britain, which saw the RAF engage German Luftwaffe, has been described as "a key moment in UK history".
A commemorative service has also been held at St Paul's Cathedral in London. It is one of a number of events that have been taking place to mark the battle which was fought from July to October, 1940.

Solider Shot Dead In Helmand
A British solider has been killed in a gun attack in the Afghan province of Helmand. The Ministry of Defence said the A Company trooper, with the 4th Battalion The Rifles (4 RIFLES) died as a result of small arms fire near Sangin. He was part of the 3 RIFLES Battle Group on patrol yesterday morning.
