100 Evacuated After Restaurant Gas Leak
One hundred people were evacuated on Thursday morning following a gas leak at a restaurant in West Brompton.
Firefighters were initially called to a fire at the property. On arrival, crews found the fire was already out but there was a strong smell of gas.
Fire crews and police enforced an exclusion zone around the area.
Police Concerned For Birmingham Teenager Missing For A Week
Police in Birmingham have issued an appeal for help in tracing 16-year-old Shannon Collins.
The teenager was last seen at her Stechford home just after 13:30 on Thursday, 10 September.
She is known to frequent the Staffordshire area, including Stafford city centre, and has been missing before.
Police are concerned for her welfare and have appealed to anyone who knows of her whereabouts to call West Midlands Police on 101. Alternatively, people can leave information by calling the independent Missing persons charity on 116 000.
Appeal For Pauline Ball's Next Of Kin
Liverpool Coroner's office has appealed for the public's help in tracing the next of kin of 56-year-old Pauline Ball.
Ms Ball lived in Cubbin Crescent and died on Tuesday, 15 September.
A post-mortem is due to be conducted but there are no suspicious circumstances.
All enquiries to trace any next of kin have been exhausted without any success.
Anyone who can provide information that may help the coroner's office trace next of kin is asked to call Liverpool Coroner's Office on 0151 225 5069.

Liverpool Coroner's Office has appealed for the public's help in tracing the next of kin of 73-year-old Michael McDonnell who was found dead on Friday, 3 July in Cressington. Mr McDonnell was found at his home address on Howard Drive. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Police in Lewisham have appealed for help in tracing 13-year-old Daniel Pena-Sanchez, reported missing on Tuesday. The teenager, from Catford, was last seen in the Denmark Hill area of Camberwell at about 10am yesterday. He is a white male of Spanish origin, with short dark hair, approximately 5ft tall and of slim build.

Newcastle Police Appeal For Help Tracing Two Missing People
Police in Newcastle have appealed for the public's help in tracing two missing people. 63-year-old MaryAnn Cook has been missing since Tuesday 09 June, when she was last seen leaving her home in Oakfield Gardens. It is known that Ms Cook travelled by taxi to Central Station, but she failed to return home and has not been seen since.

Northumbria Police have appealed for help in tracing 53-year-old Amanda Erickson. Ms Erickson, from Tyneside, was last seen at about 21:00 on Friday 12 June, at her home on Mowbray Road, South Shields. She is believed to have driven off in a white Peugeot Partner van which was last seen crossing the Tyne Bridge at around 21:50 the same day.
