Cambridgeshire Police Shooting Referred To IPCC
An investigation has been launched into the death of a man involving a firearms officer in St Neots, Cambridgeshire.
Police were called at about 19:45 on Wednesday 21 October to reports of concern for people in a property in Duck Lane, St Neots.
Officers attended the scene and at just after 8pm a man was shot by a firearms officer. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
There are no reports of other injuries.
The shooting has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission, and an investigation is underway.

Police Officer In Stable Condition After Hackney Shooting
A police officer is in a stable condition in hospital after being shot in an incident in Hackney. It is understood that the Specialist Firearms Command officer suffered a gunshot wound in an incident at about 12:24 on Thursday, 15 October. A 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene of the shooting and remains in police custody.

A female police officer has been injured in a shooting in Leeds. At around 4am on Wednesday morning, West Yorkshire Police said two officers had been called to a disturbance in Cardigan Road, Hyde Park. They were confronted by a man at a property and a gun was fired.
