Rimmel reviews supermodel's contract
Rimmel cosmetics is "reviewing" its contract with supermodel Kate Moss after allegations of cocaine abuse.
Rimmel said it was “shocked and dismayed” after recent photos which were published in a newspaper apparently showed the 31-year-old supermodel snorting cocaine.
The cosmetics company confirmed it was currently reviewing the contract with Ms Moss, which was due to last until 2007.
H&M, the Swedish retailer, sacked Ms Moss on Tuesday because of her alleged drug abuse.
Chanel has no plans to employ her again, she is currently the face of Coco Mademoiselle perfume, and a Burberry campaign featuring the model has been dropped.
She will now face an investigation by the police over her alleged drug taking.
Ms Moss, whose company ‘Skate’ had a turnover of around £1.3 million last year, can expect to lose at least £400,000 on the loss of the two modelling contracts.
