Two appear in court over solicitor's death
Two teenagers have appeared in court charged with the murder of City solicitor Tom ap Rhys Price.
Donnel Carty, 19, from Kensal Green, London and a 17-year-old male from Middlesex - who cannot be named for legal reasons - are charged with stabbing the 31-year-old to death in Willesden on January 12.
The pair have also been charged with the robbery of both Mr Rhys Price and another man, who was robbed on the same day.
Both defendants were remained in custody at West London Magistrates' Court on Friday and are due to reappear in court on February 3.
A third youth who was also arrested in connection with the inquiry was released on bail pending further inquiries.
Mr Rhys Price was returning to his home in Willesden, following a night out with colleagues, when he was attacked and robbed by two men, just yards from his home.
He had got engaged to his fiancée Adele Eastman last October and the couple were planning to marry in September.
Mr Rhys Price's family have launched a charity in his memory, which will help to education some of the poorest children in society.

Fall in house prices reported
House prices fell by 0.2% in August, according to the latest figures from the Nationwide. The building society said that the rate of annual house price growth had fallen to 2.3%; it’s lowest level in nine years.

Mary Rhys-Jones, the mother of the Countess of Wessex, has died, Buckingham Palace has confirmed. In a statement, the Palace said that Mrs Rhys-Jones, 71, had passed away in hospital on Sunday, after suffering a short illness.
