Police continue to question man over body in suitcase
Police are continuing to question a 26-year-old man in connection with the discovery of the body of a teenage girl in a suitcase in Kent.
The body of 17-year-old Terry Edmonds was discovered in the suitcase, which was found in a car park in Tunbridge Wells, Kent on Saturday.
A post-mortem revealed that she died from asphyxiation. On Tuesday, it was also revealed that she had been sexually assaulted.
The teenager, who lived in a Christian homeless hostel, had vanished on Easter Monday, on her way to meet her boyfriend.
Police have appealed for anyone who was in the area of Vale Road and Clarence Road, Tunbridge Wells, between 6:30pm and midnight on Bank Holiday Monday 17 April and who saw anything suspicious to contact them.
They particularly want to speak to anyone who saw someone carrying a turquoise suitcase.

Agency staff among those arrested over Kent robbery
Two agency staff working for Securitas were among those arrested and released on bail in connection with the £53 million Securitas depot robbery, police have revealed. The man and woman were sub-contracted to work for the firm, Kent Police confirmed. The pair were among ten people arrested and released on bail in connection with the robbery.

Police investigating the discovery of a female torso in a suitcase at a property in Peterborough have identified the victim. The torso has been identified as Ramute Butkiene, a 42-year-old Lithuanian woman, who worked as an agency worker in the Peterborough area.

An investigation has been launched after a body was found in a suitcase in London. At around 2.30pm on Sunday, police were called to the Grand Union Canal, near Delamere Terrace, Little Venice. A suitcase was recovered from the canal and a body was found to have been inside the suitcase. A post-mortem is due to be carried out later.
