Two appear in court over teenager stabbing
Two brothers have appeared in court charged with the murder of a teenager who was stabbed to death in south London last week.
Fifteen-year-old Alex Mulumbo was stabbed to death in Black Prince Road in Lambeth last Thursday. A post-mortem revealed that Alex, who was originally from Zaire, had died from a single stab wound to the heart.
Adu Sarpong, 18, and Nana Sarpong, 20, both from Mickleson House, Lambeth, appeared at Sutton Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
They were remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on September 19.
Three other teenage boys, two aged 14 and one aged 16, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been released on bail until July.

A 13-year-old boy is due to appear in court charged with the murder of Christopher John Barry on Sunday in Edmonton. Mr Barry, 53, was stabbed to death outside his home in The Broadway, following an altercation with a group of teenagers. He was pronounced dead at the scene at about 20:30 on Sunday night.
