Police continue to question terror suspects
Police are continuing to question four terror suspects arrested in London as part of an investigation into alleged international terrorism.
Three men - two aged 29 and one aged 21 - were arrested on Monday night in Hackney, east London, while the fourth man - who is aged 28 - was arrested on Tuesday in south-east London.
The 21-year-old is understand to be from Bradford, while the other three men are from south-east London. All four are British citizens.
The men are being held under the Terrorism Act on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism. They are being held at Paddington Green police station.
Police are understood to be investigating possible links to an alleged terrorist plot by a suspected al Qaeda cell in Canada.
The arrests are part of an operation linked to the arrest of a man at Manchester Airport earlier this month.
Last week, Aabid Hussain Khan, 21, from West Yorkshire, appeared before Bow Street Magistrates' Court charged with conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to cause a public nuisance by the use of poisons or explosives. He is due to appear at the Old Bailey on June 30.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also appeared in court charged with the same offences.
Police said that this week's arrests were not connected to the recent anti-terror raid in Forest Gate or to the July 7 London bombings last year.
