Caprice banned for drink-driving
Model Caprice has been disqualified from driving for 12 months after being found guilty of drink-driving at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court.
The 34-year-old California-born model, whose full name is Caprice Bourret, had admitted drinking but blamed medication she was taking for a urinary infection.
Bourret was arrested on December 10 last year, after she was stopped by police in Tottenham Court Road, central London.
The court heard that a breath test revealed that the model was about one-and-a-half times the legal drink-drive limit.
District judge Emma Arbuthnot said that Captrice had tried to conceal from police the fact that she had been drinking.
Bourret was also fined £1,000 and ordered to pay £2,500 costs.
