Three more remanded over 'bomb plot' charges
Three more men have appeared in court charged in connection with an alleged plot to blow up transatlantic flights.
Mohammed Sahmin Uddin, 35, Mohammed Yasar Gulzar, 25, and Nabeel Hussain, 22, were charged with conspiracy to murder and preparing acts of terrorism.
They were remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on September 4.
Eight other suspects were charged with the same offences last week and will also appear in court on the same day.
Four other people have been charged with lesser offences.
Last Friday, Mr Hussain's brother Umair, 24, appeared in court charged with failing to disclose information.
He was remanded until September 15.
Another brother, Mehran Hussain, 23, did not appear in court on Tuesday, but was remanded in custody in his absence until September 19, charged with the same offence.
Cossar Ali, the wife of Ahmed Abdullah Ali, one of the eight men charged last week, was also charged with failing to disclose information.
She was remanded in custody until September 5.
A 17-year-old youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also appeared in court on Tuesday, charged with possessing articles which could be useful to people preparing acts of terrorism.
Police are continuing to question five people in connection with the alleged plot.
The deadline for questioning the suspects is today, after which time they will either have to be charged or released or police will have to apply for more time to continue questioning them.

Abu Hamza remanded in custody
The radical Muslim cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri has been remanded in custody at Bow Street Magistrates Court today. Abu Hamza, who faces a total of nine charges, appeared by videolink from Belmarsh prison. He was remanded in prison until July 23. The 46-year-old was arrested on May 27 on an extradition warrant served by the US government.

Milly Accused Remanded
The man facing trial over the murder of schoolgirl Milly Dowler has been remanded in custody. Levi Bellfield, 41, is accused of kidnapping and murdering the 13-year-old in 2002. Bellfield, a former nightclub doorman, appeared in court this morning to hear the charges against him.

Four Remanded Over Lancashire Park Death
A 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy have been remanded in custody charged with the murder of a father-of-five who was stabbed to death in a Lancashire Park earlier this week. Mohammed Bilal Bhatti, 20, of Holcombe Drive in Burnley and a 16-year-old who cannot be named because of his age, appeared before Burnley Magistrates' Court on Friday.

Three Remanded Over Sunderland Street Murder
Three people have been remanded in custody charged with the murder of a man with learning difficulties who was beaten to death in Sunderland. Brent Martin, 23, died in hospital after being attacked by a gang in the Town End Farm estate. He was found in the street by police suffering from multiple injuries.

A man has been remanded in custody, charged with the murder of a couple who were found dead in their home in Manchester. The bodies of Dennis White, 61, and his wife Maria, 49, were discovered by police in their home in Belvoir Avenue in Levenshulme on June 1.
