Drugs caution for George Michael
Pop star George Michael has received a caution from police for being in possession of cannabis.
The 43-year-old singer was is understood to have been arrested on Sunday night after police received reports of a car causing an obstruction at traffic lights in Cricklewood, north London.
Scotland Yard confirmed that the driver was arrested "on suspicion of being unfit to drive and possession of a controlled substance believed to be cannabis".
It is understood that the star was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure following his arrest, before he was cautioned and released on bail, pending further inquiries on his fitness to drive.
Michael was cautioned by police for possession of cannabis in February, also after being found in his car at Hyde Park Corner.
The singer has just begun his first live tour in 15 years.
