Man jailed over Walker website comments
A 30-year-old man has been jailed for more than three years for posting racist comments on a website set up in memory of a a murdered black teenager.
Anthony Walker was murdered on July 29 last year.
The teenager was attacked and killed with an ice axe in Huyton on Merseyside.
Neil Martin posed the offensive remarks on the website just days after the murder took place.
During police interviews, Martin had admitted posting messages, but denied that he was racist.
When Martin was arrested in September, police also charged him with having 33 images of child pornography.
Martin was jailed for two years and eight months for the race hate crime and six months for the child pornography offences.

Man charged over racist website messages
A man has been charged for posting racist messages on a website set up for murdered teenager Anthony Walker. Neil Martin, 29, from Maghull, Merseyside, has been charged with racially-aggravated harassment and stirring up racial hatred. He will appear before Knowsley Magistrates' Court on May 9.

The Metropolitan Police has confirmed it will investigate a complaint from the brother of murdered teenager Stephen Lawrence that he has been stopped and searched because he is black. 35-year-old Stuart Lawrence told the Daily Mail he has been stopped 25 times over many years.

Hundreds of people of came together yesterday at St Martin-in-the-Fields church in Trafalgar Square to mark the ten-year anniversary of murdered black teenager Stephen Lawrence. Ten years ago on April 22 a gang of white youths stabbed Stephen, 18, at a southeast London bus stop for no reason other than the colour of his skin.

The 14-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, attacked 34-year-old Dawn McKenzie at a flat in Hamilton, on 24 June 2011. She bled to death after being stabbed 10 times on the head and body.
