Britons injured in Alps coach crash
A coach carrying 45 British tourists has crashed in the French Alps, the Foreign Office has confirmed.
Four passengers have been injured, one seriously.
It is understood that the accident happened around 1am local time when the coach slid off an icy road near Les Deux-Alpes in south-east France.
The person who was seriously injured is believed to be a man and he is understood to be in Grenoble University Hospital where he is being treated for severe head injuries.
It is understood that the coach was taking the passengers to Grenoble airport when the crash occurred.
The passengers are had been travelling with SkiPlan, a Brighton-based tour operator which specialises in skiing.

A coach crash in the Scottish Highlands today has injured around 20 of the passengers on board. It is believed that some of the Australian tourists have been seriously injured and emergency services were still at the scene working to free a number of passengers trapped in the wreckage of the coach this afternoon.

Sixth Briton dies following Austrian coach crash
A sixth Briton injured in a coach crash in Austria earlier this month has died, the Foreign Office has said. The name of the victim, who died in an intensive care unit, has not yet been released. Eight other Britons injured in the smash are still being treated in hospital.

A man arrested in connection with a coach crash on the M40 in Buckinghamshire has been released on bail. The collision happened around 2am on Monday morning, when an Oxford Tube coach overturned between junctions 3 and 2 southbound. Twelve passengers and the coach driver were onboard.
